Michelle Monique Reis (Cantonese Name:
Lee Ka-Yan) was born on June 20, 1970 in Hong Kong. When she was in secondary
school, she had accepted more than 40 different advertisements, including
toothpaste, chewing gum and drinks etc. When she was 17, she participated
in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant Contest in 1988 and won. This begins her
new career as an actress. In 1989, she begins her debut as an actress on
TV and in the movies. The courage of her character as an actress has helped
her a lot. After several years, her performance has greatly improved her
career as an actress. Her role as an actress has achieved a great success.
"Fallen Angels", her first movie is a good attempt. Once she has found
her objective, she would try to do her best as an actress. She feels 'Process'
is more important than 'Result'. "Enjoying the whole 'process' is very
interesting. "The career is only part of my life, but not the whole." she
said. In the future, she wants to play many new roles, like a successful
